Day 1: Marrakech → High Atlas Mountains → Ait Ben Haddou → Dades Valley
Your journey begins with a pick-up from your accommodation or the airport in Marrakech.
We leave the city behind and head into the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains, crossing the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass.
Enjoy panoramic views of mountain landscapes, traditional Berber villages, and scenic valleys along the way.
Our main stop is the iconic Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its impressive earthen architecture and history as a filming location.
After time to explore and relax with a traditional Moroccan tea, we continue through Ouarzazate toward Boumalne Dades.
Dinner and overnight in a charming riad.
Day 2: Dades Valley → Todra Gorge → Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, we travel through beautiful valleys and desert landscapes to the dramatic Todra Gorge.
Here, enjoy a walk along the river surrounded by towering cliffs.
We continue toward Merzouga, where the golden dunes of the Sahara begin to appear.
Upon arrival, you will experience a camel trek across the stunning Erg Chebbi.
Arriving at your desert camp, you will settle into your private tent before enjoying a traditional dinner.
The evening continues with Berber music around the campfire and a magical night under the stars.
Day 3: Merzouga → Rissani → Draa Valley → Ouarzazate
Wake early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes.
After breakfast, return to the village by camel or 4×4.
We then visit Rissani, a historic town known for its traditional market and authentic atmosphere.
Continuing west, we travel through the scenic Draa Valley, famous for its vast palm groves and ancient caravan routes.
Arrival in Ouarzazate for dinner and overnight in a comfortable riad.
Day 4: Merzouga Desert Exploration (4×4 Experience & Nomad Visit)
Today is dedicated to discovering the desert around Merzouga.
Using a 4×4 vehicle, we explore off-road routes across dunes, rocky plains, and desert tracks.
You will visit a nomadic family to experience traditional desert life and enjoy tea in a peaceful setting.
We also explore local villages and unique desert landscapes, including hidden oases and cultural sites.
In the afternoon, you have another opportunity to enjoy the dunes of Erg Chebbi, with the option for a second sunset experience.
Dinner and overnight in a desert camp or hotel.
Day 5: Ouarzazate → Atlas Mountains → Marrakech
After breakfast, we begin the return journey to Marrakech.
Optional visit to Atlas Studios, one of the largest film studios in the world.
We then cross the High Atlas Mountains once again
via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, with scenic stops along the way.
Arrival in Marrakech in the late afternoon.
Drop-off at your accommodation or airport.
End of the tour.
